The Challenge

To celebrate the launch of Hyperia, Thorpe Park wanted to create exciting and shareable experiences for VIP guests attending the launch event. The activation needed to reflect the thrill and energy of the new ride while encouraging guests to create and share content across social media platforms.

Our Solution

We delivered two interactive experiences designed to entertain guests and generate highly shareable content during the event.

The installations combined video capture, personalisation, and live merchandise printing, ensuring guests could take away both digital and physical memories from the launch.

Experience 1 – 360 Video Booth

VIP guests stepped onto a branded 360 platform where our rotating camera system captured cinematic slow-motion videos.

To enhance the visual impact, we incorporated bubble smoke effects, creating dramatic and high-energy footage that matched the excitement of the Hyperia ride.

Participants received their videos instantly and were encouraged to share them on platforms such as:

• Instagram
• TikTok

The result was dynamic video content that extended the reach of the event online.

Experience 2 – Live Tote Bag Printing

The second activation allowed guests to create personalised tote bags featuring their own photo.

Participants took a photo and selected a background that was digitally added to their image. They then moved to our design stations where they could customise their artwork with:

• Names or custom text
• Digital props and graphics
• Personal design choices

Once the design was complete, the artwork was printed live onto tote bags on site, complete with the Hyperia logo at the bottom.

The Result

The activations generated strong engagement throughout the launch event.

Key results included:

• Over 250 personalised tote bags printed live on site
• High participation from VIP guests

• Large amounts of shareable video content posted online

• Strong brand engagement during the launch of the new ride

The combination of interactive video capture and personalised merchandise created memorable experiences that perfectly matched the excitement of the Hyperia launch.
